Event Room 4, Bella Center, Copenhagen Part of TechBBQ 2026
Defence & Dual-Use Summit
Connecting defence leaders, investors, stakeholders and defence and dual-use startups for a vital two-day event.
For the second year in a row, TechBBQ hosted a dedicated Defence & Dual-Use Summit. Among all the critical challenges this year we focused on two: the obstacles to raising capital, and B2B sales for startups. Two days to connect with defence and dual-use startups, decision-makers, stakeholders, investors, strategic partners, and the solutions we need for difficult times.
Summit Highlights
What the summit covered
The Summit
A full day on capital and B2B sales. The obstacles to raising capital are many, and we looked at possible solutions. Direct sales to defence forces are difficult, while B2B sales are both attractive and under-explored. Three sessions apiece, each a panel, a relevant case and time to talk.
The Exhibition
A defence, cyber and dual-use showcase at the heart of TechBBQ, featuring the very best startups.
The Ecosystem
Your gateway to Nordic defence technology. Active investors, startups, scaleups, corporates, policymakers, military representatives and leading academic researchers, in one place.
Audience
Who it was for, and why

Two Programmes
Two days under one name
Day 1, Future of Defence
Six sessions on the two challenges the summit set out to address, curated in collaboration with ODIN and TYR.vc.
Day 2, Defence Tech & Cyber Arena
Defence and cyber is where some of the most critical innovation is happening right now. The potential unlocks when startups meet end-users from defence, when civilian expertise brings new perspectives, when investors believe in the field, and when good ideas find their way from lab to application. Opened by Industriens Fond for founders, investors, researchers, procurement professionals and defence industry partners.
